Six needles or ten? Ten (PR1055X) if your designs regularly exceed six colours, or you want to keep standard colours permanently loaded. Six covers the vast majority of corporate logo work.
Do I need the stand? Effectively yes for daily use — it sets working height and keeps the machine stable. The PR680WC + Stand combo listed on this store is cheaper than buying both separately.
