What else you will need

Embroidery has consumables that machines do not ship with. Budget for embroidery thread, bobbin thread and — most importantly — stabiliser. Skipping stabiliser is the single most common reason a first embroidery attempt puckers.

Questions people ask

Can it sew a seam? No. It embroiders only.

Can I embroider caps? Flat items and some caps with the right hoop. Proper cap work needs a cylinder-arm machine like the VR.

Do I need design software? Not to start — there are designs built in. PE-Design 11 is for when you want to create your own from artwork.
