Brother call the FS60X "Extra Tough" and for once the marketing is fair — it stitches through eight layers of denim. A heavy-duty metal internal frame, 60 stitches, seven buttonhole styles and an LCD screen. This is the machine for people whose projects keep breaking lighter machines.

Can it do lettering? Yes, it will sew lettering and labels — that is sewn lettering, not machine embroidery.
